Before deploying self-improving robots, I think technology leaders must enforce a barrier between learning and execution. There shouldn’t be any behavior that moves from simulation or peer learning to the factory floor without thorough validation, safety checks and rollback controls to prevent uncontrolled risk to people, equipment and production.
