WordPress Green has been released and is all ready to go.

WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time. – wordpress.org/

WordPress 3.4, the “Green” release, continues in the same tradition as previous versions, but with some cool improvements. With WordPress 3.4, comes improvements to theme customization, custom headers, Twitter embeds, and image captions.

While the general user will love these improvements, additional improvements will be realized by WordPress developers.

The new WordPress Green, improved on the XML-RPC, themes, and custom header APIs.

Performance is always a factor, especially as websites and their databases, get larger and larger. So, the best improvements, in the new WordPress release, may just be the significant performance improvements in WP_Query and the translation system.
